In portraiture, I look for the moment when the quiet strength each person carries within becomes visible, regardless of age, status, or appearance. I seek a delicate balance between strong presence and vulnerability. No conventional poses—rather a close attention to the lines the body can form. I embrace a sometimes painterly approach, where pared-down backgrounds highlight the subject and create a sense of timelessness.
